Air Cargo Carrier 3rd Countries (ACC3)

Regulation (EU) No 185/2010 stipulates that all air carriers flying cargo or mail from a third country airport (ACC3) into the European Union (EU) for unloading, transfer, or transit require an EU aviation security validation (ACC3 certificate).

For the United Kingdom (UK), air carriers flying cargo or mail from a third country airport into the UK must meet

the relevant UK security requirements, including a UK aviation security validation.

​

Companies with locations outside the European Union and the United Kingdom can also become part of the secure supply chain through certification as a Known Consignor (KC3) or Regulated Agent (RA3), thereby enabling them to import their goods into the EU or the UK, or transport them through the EU and the UK (transit, transfer) quickly and cost-effectively without obstacles.
